5-22-10 Davidson

I've been tying my own flies and I've been hopeful to one day catch a touts on my own fly.

Well, it happened. I got a speeding ticket on the way out to the river which would cost me $160 not to mention my insurance going up as well but it was worth it. I caught this guy on an Adams Fly variation that I made up which only uses brown hackle instead of the typical brown and grizzly hackle. I plan on trying this new and innovative fly again next time I see the fish lookn' up again. Hahaha... (new and innovative) .

I've always dreamed of having my DSLR camera with me when I'm fishing so that i can capture moments such as these below. I just don't bring it along because there's just too much at stake.

Maconbeatz caught some nice spanish mac's down in FL.

Looks like the oil spill isn't effecting ol' Maconbeatz down in Florida.

I don't see how he fishes in that white hat without getting the ol' juices on it.

He's informed me that he picked his nose and it was awesome.

4-30-10 Davidsion River Fly Fishing

I used to go camping with my parents at the Davidson River a long time ago but never realized how beautiful it was until i started fly fishing it.

I finally hooked up on this Native Rainbow. I especially enjoyed seeing the white tips of the fins on this lil' guy.
